Role and Responsibilities: As the lead Product Designer for the GooseTrack productivity dashboard, I focused on creating a seamless experience for users to manage tasks and events efficiently. My responsibilities included conducting user research to understand user needs, defining user flows for task and event management, and designing wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes. I also collaborated with developers to ensure the design translated smoothly into an intuitive calendar interface that enhances productivity.

Introduction

In collaboration with the GooseTrack development team, I took on the role of Product Designer to create a productivity-focused web application. The goal was to design an intuitive dashboard that allows users to manage tasks and events efficiently through a visually organized calendar interface.

Using Figma, I focused on crafting a seamless and user-friendly experience, ensuring clear task and event management flows. The GooseTrack dashboard empowers users to boost their productivity by simplifying task organization and scheduling, providing a cohesive and efficient tool for managing daily commitments.

The GooseTrack team approached me with a vision to create a productivity web application that simplifies task and event management for users. The primary goal was to design a centralized dashboard featuring an intuitive calendar interface that seamlessly integrates tasks and events, making it easier for users to stay organized.

The project aimed to enhance user productivity by providing a streamlined tool for managing schedules, tracking progress, and meeting deadlines. By addressing these needs, GooseTrack seeks to empower users with an efficient, visually engaging solution that supports their daily productivity.

Problems

  • Unclear Task and Event Management Structure:As a new product, there was no pre-existing framework for organizing tasks and events effectively. Establishing a clear and intuitive system to manage these elements was a significant challenge.
  • Limited Visibility of Deadlines and Progress:Users struggled to track deadlines and monitor their progress without a centralized view, making it difficult to stay on top of their schedules.
  • Non-Intuitive Calendar Interface:The absence of a user-friendly and visually organized calendar interface made it hard for users to navigate and manage their tasks and events efficiently.

In the Discovery phase, I aimed to understand the key challenges traders face in efficiently monitoring and managing cryptocurrency investments. I engaged with traders, platform users, and financial experts to gather insights into their needs and workflows.

Through interviews and user research, I identified pain points such as difficulty in interpreting complex market data, unreliable alert systems for cryptocurrency pair changes, and cumbersome interfaces that hindered seamless trading operations. This phase helped uncover the core issues that needed addressing to create a more user-friendly and effective solution for cryptocurrency investment management.

For this project, I conducted a thorough research process to gather insights on improving cryptocurrency investment management:

During the Ideation phase, I generated and refined concepts to address the challenges uncovered in the research. My focus was on creating innovative solutions for:
